SALARY: AUD 83,000 Inclusive of Super per year

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Work as BAU support for administering, managing for On Premise environment and Cloud environment which includes deploy, configure, and maintain Web/App servers.
• Manage project environment requirements in repository through JIRA/Confluence/Enov8 and enhance user experience through documentation.
• Support creation of cloud migration strategies, migration plans and designing the orchestration plans.
• Experience in working with operations, support and engineering teams, troubleshooting issues to ensure successful migrations.
• Work with business unit managers to understand project scope, suggest possible alternatives, and document each step of the design.
• Proficiency in the services offered by AWS/Azure including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Administrate and support technical tools like Jenkins, SVN, Enov8 Jira and Confluence.
• Planning, coordinating, and participating in annual disaster recovery exercises for both Cloud and On-premises hosted infrastructure.
• Interact with clients to elicit architectural and non-functional requirements like performance, scalability, reliability, availability, and maintainability.
• Review production issue analysis and fixes, interface with customer to clarify issues and ensures timely closure.
• Managing product lifecycles to maintain vendor support, maintenance contracts and software licensing compliance as well as needed updates/upgrades.
• Migration of Hyper V servers to Azure Cloud Infrastructure and maintaining them.
• Manage any environment-related risks and contentions, resolution of any Environment Defects in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Report to stakeholders on Environment status, Availability, Change Management, and risks via an Environment Status Dashboard.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives including automation.
Technical Expertise:
• Hands on experience in MS-Azure environment for spinning up new environments, Subscription management, working with Azure VM Management, Storage account/explorer management, OnPrem and Azure AD Integration/management.
• Hands on experience in Amazon Web Services environment for spinning up new EC2 Instances, Subscription management, Maintaining AMI’s and Cloud formation templates, Monitoring, and alarms configuration through cloud watch.
• Work with internal teams to create the migration process of legacy systems to the AWS cloud.
• Lead the Infrastructure team for implementation of Web/App/DB server for DEV/TEST/Pre-Prod environment including Infrastructure design, capacity, and performance planning. Also, involved in Application implementation and Performance testing.
• Experienced in all phases of the software development life - cycle (SDLC) with specific focus on the build and release of quality software. Experienced in Waterfall, Agile, Lean, and most recently Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) practices.
• System and Network Administration skills (Includes Installation / Upgrading, managing user account, File Systems, Network Printing, Migration and LAN Troubleshooting).
• Knowledge and experience in Active Directory Services.
• Microsoft windows patch management through SCCM & Dell Kace.
Mandatory skills: CI/CD tools administration.
