About the Role
Our Commercial Finance function is a high-performing team that is committed to engaging with the business as true finance business partners.
This position undertakes high-level reporting and analysis and is a stepping stone to a finance business partnering role.
Reporting to the Finance Manager – Sales and Marketing, you will:
- Provide our Sales, Marketing and Category teams with timely and accurate commercially focused financial and analytical support
- Analyse, investigate and report on key metrics such as Sales, Trade Spend, Gross Margin, Customer and Product Profitability, A&P Spend and Opex
- Support key business processes such as new product development, forecasting and budgeting
Skills and Experience
We are seeking an individual who is motivated to progress their career towards the business partnering side of finance. You will have:
- Five years’ post qualified experience in accounting and finance
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards
- A high level of accountability and keen desire to learn
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to look for own solutions (coupled with coaching)
- Some prior finance business partnering experience is desirable; however, we are open to candidates with excellent communication & rapport building skills who have a desire to develop in this space
- Good working knowledge of Excel coupled with strong analytical skills
