The opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled communications specialist to work closely with the Executive Manager, Corporate Engagement to lead communications strategies and enhance stakeholder engagement both internally in Funds SA, and with our clients.
As the Senior Communications Consultant, you will play a key role in developing and implementing communications strategies for the business including:
- Producing key communications materials such as annual reports, performance reports, the external website, LinkedIn, internal intranet, and other organisation publications. This includes writing the investment content within these reports.
- Defining Funds SA messaging through corporate communications channels and activities.
- Developing defined branding and style standards, driving engagement within the organisation to apply those standards across all communications.
- Managing and overseeing the external website and internal intranet, and providing guidance and mentoring to internal administrators to encourage adherence with organisational standards, including brand, legal requirements, and policy.
- Working closely with the Executive Manager, Corporate Engagement to implement the client and stakeholder communication plan to ensure that Funds SA’s profile, investment options, services and client and stakeholder information is effectively communicated in line with the Client Value Proposition.
- Work collaboratively with internal Funds SA teams to develop and communicate investment strategies to stakeholders, and with clients to produce investment related communications and content.
What skills and experience we would like you to have:
- Significant, demonstrated experience in a role responsible for external communications for a corporate organisation within the investment, superannuation, funds management or financial services industries.
- Demonstrated capability in media and issues management, development and implementation of external communications strategies.
- Well-developed ability to think conceptually and logically and to present complex concepts in an accessible way.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to produce written communication for a range of audiences.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and to work collaboratively and productively with a diverse range of people.
- Experience in developing and managing web content and publishing, with a high level of attention to detail and knowledge of user experience best practice.
- An understanding in researching, evaluating and monitoring of financial data.
