- Lead the development and management of relationships with users of Community Facilities.
- Attend meetings with community groups, occasionally out of hours, in conjunction with members of the team.
- Professionally liaise with Council's Community Facilities stakeholders. Ensure the customer service charter is adhered to at all times.
- Support the planning, implementation and review of key projects and initiatives led by the Sport and Recreation team.
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Community Facilities team.
- Lead the annual allocation process for Community Facilities, identifying opportunities for improvement in time, resource efficiency and customer experience
- Lead the development of strategies which support greater activation of Council's Community Facilities by community groups and individuals
- Provide supervision and support to the Community Facilities Administration Officer
- Degree or Diploma in Recreation or Sport with some work experience or lesser formal qualifications with extensive experience.
- Experience in customer and stakeholder management.
- Experience in process, policy and/or systems improvement.
- Demonstrated competence and experience in Microsoft Office software, including proficiency with Word and Excel, as well as a good working knowledge and ability with relational databases such as Access.
- Current valid Victorian driver's licence
