Role is based in Paramatta with flexible/hybrid working arrangements
Salary ranges from $120,859 to $133,183 per annum + 17.5% recreation leave loading + super
About YouOur People and Culture team is currently seeking to appoint a Senior Industrial Relations Advisor. This role supports the provision of a high-level Industrial Relations advice to business units including the interpretation and application of Awards, relevant legislation and policies and also in the management of industrial disputes and claims. The role also supports research, development, implementation and education of workforce related policies and projects. You will be involved in work to make and vary industrial instruments, flexible working agreements, policies and determinations and will have opportunities to advocate before the NSW Industrial Relations Commission and other tribunals.
You will also participate in negotiations, conciliation or arbitration to assist with the resolution of wage and conditions disputes and single employee claim matters.
Essential Requirements
High level knowledge of IR legislation, policies, practices and strategies
Experience in implementing client focused IR strategies, programs and services including the delivery of presentations to management and staff
Experience in industrial advocacy before industrial tribunals
Demonstrated experience in undertaking successful consultations/negotiations with external stakeholders including unions, other Government Sector agencies and employment law specialists
