About the Agency
The Australian Digital Health Agency (the Agency) is responsible for national digital health services and systems, with a focus on engagement, innovation and clinical quality and safety. Our focus is on putting data and technology safely to work for patients, consumers and the health care professionals who look after them.
About the Role

As a Senior Content Writer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brands voice and ensuring that our content resonates with our target audience. You will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, collaborating closely with our Digital and Design teams to create compelling and consistent content across various channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write brand-new content from provided briefs, ensuring it aligns with our brands tone and style.
  • Edit content supplied by subject matter experts to enhance its clarity, coherence, and alignment with our audiences needs and style guidelines.
  • Develop content guidelines to maintain consistency across all communication channels, including SEO best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Digital team to create engaging content for the website and email campaigns, ensuring alignment with the Content Management System (CMS) and optimal user experience as well as SEO optimisation.
  • Work with graphic designers to incorporate text into desktop-published documents, maintaining visual and textual harmony.
  • Conduct research to stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance content quality.
  • Manage and maintain the content calendar, ensuring timely and relevant content delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and feedback to improve content.
  • Proofread and fact-check content to ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining our brands content strategy to drive engagement and conversions.

Essential Experience:

  • Proven experience in content writing and editing for digital platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in adhering to brand guidelines and style manuals.
  • Demonstrated ability to create clear, concise, and persuasive content.
  • Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS) and an understanding of website user experience principles.

Depending on the Agency's operational requirements, successful applicants may be employed either under the Public Service Act or pursuant to s64(3) of the Public Governance Performance and Accountability (Establishing the Australian Digital Health Agency) Rule 2016.
Eligibility

  • Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility
  • Ability to obtain and maintain national police check
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at a level designated by the Agency on request

Salary:  $90,823 - $102,464 (including superannuation).
