Civcon Civil & Project Management is a Western Australian Civil Construction and Project Management Company seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join the team on a permanent full-time basis. We pride ourselves in providing outstanding service to our clients and understanding their needs, managing and delivering projects to quality standards.
You will be responsible for all aspects for the effective management of contracts from procurement to close-out, providing support for the Project Managers, Construction Manager and Commercial Manager with commercials and procurement during the project execution phase, collating project cost and financial data to develop monthly project valuations and cost reports.
Working across various project sites with the project teams, you need to be a proactive individual with outstanding attention to detail. You must also be able to demonstrate your experience in:
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and negotiating of subcontracts, variations and claims through to closeout
- Participating in the review and assisting with the negotiation and execution of variations and claims to client contracts and subcontracts
- Contract administration to support execution, including correspondence and contract notices and claims assessment
- High level written skills with excellent attention to detail
- Project cost reporting and forecasting
- Manage and build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Knowledge and implementation of contracts
- Effective time management skills
- Provide assistance and guidance to junior Contract Administrators
To apply for the position, you will be required to demonstrate:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in contract administration
- Strong planning, organisation and analytical skills
- Strong communication (both written and verbal)
- Be willing to work on site
- Work part of a team
- An ability to engage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, subcontractors and suppliers
- Tertiary qualification in an appropriate engineering, quantity surveying, finance, accounting, legal or business discipline is preferable.
