THE ROLE
Our client are seeking a new addition to their team to work from their Guildford office in a full-time capacity. This permanent opportunity is for a Senior Contract Administrator with Civil Construction project experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
Provide support to the legal department with reviewing and negotiating contracts
Work alongside the Project Manager to prepare subcontractor and Major Supply contracts
Prepare and submit upstream commercial notices and claims – ensuring compliance with contract requirements
Resolve any upstream or downstream contract disputes that may arise
Prepare payment claims to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
Assist with the preparation of monthly cost reports and project reports
Comply with all record-keeping requirements
Review Project Manager’s daily records and raise any potential contractual issues
Administration of downstream subcontracts such as managing all responses, approvals of variations, payment schedules, supplier invoices
Manage upstream claims, responses, notifications, certificates
Undertake ad-hoc projects, initiatives, tasks
ABOUT YOU
Minimum 5 years ‘ of experience working as a Contract Administrator within the Construction industry
Experience in all Head Contract and subcontract/supplier negotiation stages, those including indemnities, insurances, payment observations, dispute provisions, risk mitigation
Assemble and maintain all documents related to the project using MS Office Suites
High level of quality control and record management skills
Customer service and communication skills
A high attention to detail
Ability to work quickly and efficiently
