An exciting opportunity exists to join a long standing building company operating across three states in Australia building in both residential and commercial and remote areas. The position is a Senior Contracts Administrator / Project Manager and will work closely with the General Manager assisting in maintaining long term client relationships and efficient and timely delivery of product. Ideally the candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience and a strong understanding of construction. This is a challenging role with varying requirements and contracts. Problem solving and the ability to adapt and work within a team environment are essential.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing project scopes, ensuring the project is delivered on time and to budget whilst achieving project objectives
- Producing cost forecast reports & understanding of monthly progress claims
- Competency in the use of MS programs with the ability to pick up new systems quickly
- Management and organising project meetings on MS Teams with various stakeholders based across Australia and record discussed outcomes
- Excellent planning, organisational, time management and communication skills
- Motivated and self-driven
- Knowledge & ability to present solutions to issues as they arise, with consideration of project time constraints and budgets
- Forecasting and forward planning of project deliveries
- Liaising with various stakeholders and clients in WA, NT & SA & provide monthly reports
- Producing and maintaining MS Project programmes
- Attend interstate site & construction yards (Darwin, Alice Springs and Adelaide) as required
- Lead and assist site managers to reach project goals
- Produce ECI & tender submissions with the General Manager
- Review and negotiate contracts
- Ability to interpret contractual document and requirements
- Raise variations, EOT & RFI’s as required
