An experienced Senior Contract Administrator is required by Piacentini & Son based at our Head Office in Bunbury, Western Australia with regular remote site travel required.
Piacentini & Son is an established earthmoving and mining contractor with multiple sites across Australia.
An exciting position has become available for a Senior Contract Administrator will be given the responsibility to support the project management team throughout the delivery phase of projects in order to protect the companies’ commercial position.
Responsibilities will include:
- Manage all commercial and financial requirements for the project
- Provide advice to the Project Team concerning contractual issues and assist in preparing formal contractual correspondence
- Preparing and managing progress claims and EOTs
- Prepare Delay Notices (NoDs)
- Assessment of subcontractor variations
- Management of all related contractual correspondence
- Manage and track project expenditure
- Capability in preparation of contractual correspondence
Skills and Experience required:
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management/Quantity Surveying or Law
- Approximately 3-8 years’ of civil/industrial construction experience in contract management
- Solid experience on mining projects for construction contractors in Australia such as; earthworks, drainage, underground services/utilities, telecoms, industrial developments is preferred
- Demonstrated experience as a Contracts Administrator managing claims, variations, EOTs and Notices of delays
- Strong all-round communication skills and attention to detail
