Senior Control Systems Engineer (Dido 8/6)

To support our strong pipeline of work, we are seeking a skilled and driven Senior Control Systems Engineer to join us on an 8/6 drive-in drive out (DIDO) roster. This role will be pivotal in supporting our long-term clients' operations through the design, implementation, and commissioning of efficient and reliable Control Systems.
Key Responsibilities:

• Utilise your PLC and SCADA programming experience to create efficient and reliable Control Systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify operational requirements and deliver optimal control solutions.
• Lead the design, development, implementation, commissioning and tuning of high-quality Control Systems solutions, ensuring they meet or exceed client expectations.
• Conduct comprehensive analyses, troubleshooting, and optimisation of operational technology to enhance performance.
• Guide internal and external stakeholders toward technical excellence.
• Represent the company professionally and uphold GTE core values of Safety, Integrity and Quality.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols.

About You:

• Experience (6+ years) with Control Systems in the resource sector.
• Client-focused with the ability to build and maintain working relationships.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to mentor engineers and technicians.
• PLC experience (Rockwell Allen-Bradley preferred).
• Experience with SCADA (Citect preferred).
• Process control experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, Visio
• The right to work in Australia.
• Ready to work on sites in Western Australia.
• Eager to enhance experience in iron ore, lithium, oil and gas.
