Senior Corporate Counsel (7-12 Pae) - Corporate/Commercial/Projects - Sydney

Rare opportunity for a Senior Legal Counsel to join a leading Australian logistics and transport company.

The Team 

The legal team are responsible for providing legal and commercial advice for a number of national projects, in addition to advising the broader organisation in meeting business targets.
  
You will work alongside the General Counsel and, owing to the organisations flat structure, will have direct exposure to executives from the wider business. This role will see you exposed to many career advancement opportunities, ideal for a career motivated candidate.

The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring day-to-day business matters are in line with legal and regulatory requirements. You will also assist in the strategic deliver of national projects, formulating commercial frameworks and providing advice. When necessary, you will also be responsible for representing the organisation in any contentious matters.

Position Requirements 

The ideal candidate will have 7-12 years post admission experience ideally from a corporate M&A, commercial, or projects background. However, candidates with a strong commercial acumen seeking to gain broader industry experience will also be considered. Previous experience in logistics or supply chain industries will be advantageous.
