Senior Cost Controller

Your new company 
This well-known State Government Organisation and one of Australia’s largest Regional Public Transport is currently seeking an experience Senior Cost Controller to provide essential support services and oversight to the Cost Controllers in their monthly tasks. Which will include but not limited to, project forecasting, earned value analysis, supporting development of project estimates, monthly claim verification and many more.

Your new role 
As a Senior Cost Controller, you will be responsible for the following below:

• Lead across various aspects of projects cost control including allocating budgets, reporting cost deviations, cash flow reporting, cost forecasting and change management.
• Assist in supporting the maintenance of Project Controls System to ensure data integrity and ensure accurate reporting is provided in a timely manner.
• Act as Cost focal point for specific project scopes
• Supporting Lead to the Cost Controllers to develop and prepare project reports and provide cost control and change management support across the project scope for relevant Work Package Teams.

What you'll need to succeed 
The successful person will have a qualification in Engineering, Finance, Commerce with relevant work experience in Cost Control at a Senior level as well demonstrated project cost control within major construction/infrastructure projects. You will also have an understanding of project controls mechanisms including cost forecast, program and month end reporting (essential).
