Our Maintenance and Industrial Services division specialises in the planning, management and execution of maintenance, shutdowns and sustaining capital works.
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Cost Engineer to join our Maintenance and Industrial Services division on a full-time basis. This role will be based in the Brisbane Office Monday to Friday, with the occasional requirement for site visits to Papua New Guinea.
Key responsibilities include:
- Subcontractor claim management
- Monitor and report project costs
- Monitor purchase orders and deliveries
- Client invoicing
- Internal reporting
- Cost and budget tracking
- Lead a small team (1-2 reports)

What you will bring
- Australian recognised Engineering degree
- Experience working in a Cost Engineering role in the resources sector
- Proficient user of MS Office Suite (including Excel)
- Experience using cost management systems, JDE and SAP
- High attention to detail and accuracy in work produced
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management skills and demonstrable experience achieving tight deadlines
- Previous experience leading a small team
- Proof of right to work in Australia and a valid passport
