AddressAECOM’s progressive Cost Management team has a new opportunity for a proven Cost Manager to work in partnership with our Building Services practice, alongside this our Cost Management team also support major projects in Transport, Civil Infrastructure, Energy and Environmental sectors.
This is a new position to support our growing team of Cost Managers in Melbourne and will allow you to lead and support our multi-disciplinary projects with a key focus on Building Services projects, while benefiting from a world-wide knowledge base of specialist engineering and construction professionals.
As part of our high performing Cost Management group, you will be responsible for providing cost management services on some of Melbourne’s most iconic projects, giving you the opportunity to further develop your career in a range of market sectors.
What will a day in this role look like:
- Assisting with feasibility studies, capital cost advice, cost planning and estimating during design phases across a range of projects.
- Measurement of quantities based on design drawings and construction phase cost management.
- Contribute to projects involving asset Management including life-cycle costing and risk management
- Produce monthly cost reporting, cashflows whilst developing communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Mentor and coach junior members of the Cost Management team and liaise effectively with multi-disciplinary engineering teams across a range of projects.
This role is ideal for a highly driven professional who is looking to continue to grow their cost management skills in Building Services, working on a range of medium to large-scale Buildings projects.
