Role Purpose
Design is in our brand DNA. From the look and feel of our brand across property listings. signboards, at our bespoke events and conferences, to merchandise, to client-facing materials, this role is integral in driving a memorable, distinctive brand.
As an integral part of our in-house creative team, your role is to collaboratively brainstorm, conceptualize and help execute creative concepts, graphic and motion design, visual design, content and more. The projects are varied, and creative freedom matters to us as much as it does you. Our ethos is ‘bringing homes to life’ and not only will you play a role in that but bringing the essence of ‘BresicWhitney’ to life for our people, our clients and our communities.
You understand all facets of design and the importance of a consistent yet layered visual language that is applicable to different audiences and channels. You have an eye for detail and the technical components of your craft, one that will benefit the continual evolution and ensure the industry-leading standards of our photography, retouching and videography and more.
Key Responsibilities
Working within a close-knit team, the Senior Creative is responsible for:
- Providing design advice, direction, and execution across all our assets, as part of a collaborative team.
- Creative ideation and execution of projects, in line with our strategy, events calendar and more.
- Helping set the visual identity for the BresicWhitney brand, including maintaining distinctive aesthetic and storytelling lens across our photography, videography, editorial-style retouching, journal, social content and more.
- Capturing and editing content as part of our strategy including short-format video.
- Executing various motion design projects for digital assets.
- Be a champion of quality and technical expertise, wanting to share your insights and help develop others, while learning and evolving your practice.
- Deliver artwork that is to the brief, on brand and positively challenges what we’ve seen before.
- Attend marketing or property-related appointments where required.
- Ad hoc responsibilities as required by the evolving needs of BresicWhitney.
Skills & Attributes
The successful candidate is a creative with a level of business nous. You understand the intersection of creativity and strategy, ideation, and execution. You are genuinely passionate about your work and thrive working with likeminded creatives and communicators. In addition you will have:
- 8-10 years’ experience of relevant creative experience.
- Outstanding graphic design and visual design/visual communication expertise, including Adobe Suite.
- Motion design experience.
- UX/UI design knowledge/principles.
- Experience in creating on-brand, engaging content for multiple audiences.
- An aptitude and eye for videography, photography, and retouching.
- Resilience, be adaptable, and able to take constructive feedback.
- The ability to positively influence a team of diverse creatives and bring them on the journey, while being a team player. We’re a tight-knit team who respect and support one another.
- Striving for ‘perfection’ but not letting it get in the way of ‘great’!
- The ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks, within the busier seasons of Sydney real estate.
- Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, The Arts or similar.
- Must have full working rights for Australia.
