This leading financial services institution is a highly regarded brand, which manages the financial needs of corporate, institutional and government clients both here, New Zealand and increasingly in the Asia/Pacific region. They are a leading provider of wholesale banking services and this specific team works closely with their Relationship Managers to support business decisions in the Medium to Large Corporate banking sector, offering both proactive and ongoing industry insights, credit analysis and portfolio risk management.Working collaboratively with Relationship Managers, Product experts and peer Analysts, you will assess and in some cases lead a wide range of deals, helping to initiate, structure and review a range of complex transactions from their large portfolio in the Industrials sector.
Your key areas of focus will include:
- Industry Research: developing and reporting industry insights, and sharing this knowledge with key internal stakeholders and customers
- Analysis: risk profiling, financial analysis and preparing of credit submissions
- Sales: supporting Relationship Managers in their marketing efforts by participation in and contribution to customer meetings and conferences in addition to providing analytical support for strategic client pitches
- Monitoring: undertaking dynamic risk management of assigned customers incorporating accurate and timely monitoring of triggers, covenants, completion of periodic reviews and continuous risk monitoring
- Collaboration: information sharing and contributing to strategy papers and other team initiatives
