Senior Credit Officer

We are in search of a talented professional to join our credit team, bring strategic insights, and contribute to the overall financial health of CSR. If you possess a wealth of experience in credit risk assessment, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for driving financial excellence, this is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping our credit strategies. Key Accountabilities: 

• Obtain payment of accounts within agreed trading terms.
• Ensure any arrears are collected promptly.
• Resolve customer account issues.
• Facilitate the resolution of claims within the Region.
• In consultation with the National Credit Manager IS refer delinquent accounts to the Debt Recovery team to manage the external collection process
• Contribute to the decision in the establishment of new accounts and limit reviews in the region as requested by National Credit Manager IS
• Assist in maintaining up to date customer master data and ensure notes of all your customer dealings are recorded on the system.

About You

• At least 5 years Credit experience
• Detailed and practical experience with SAP
• A basic understanding of accounting
• A good understanding and appreciation of the need to comply with policies and internal system of controls such as segregation of duties.
• A team player with strong inter-personal skills.
