The Opportunity:

The Financial Services team of DPLH is looking for a motivated and experience Senior Accounts Payable/Credit Card Officer to work within a forward-thinking role. You will be responsible for ensuring the provision of contemporary, responsive and fit for purpose delivery and management of Accounts Payable activities. In order to achieve positive outcomes, improvements of streamlined processes and integrated contemporary systems will be explored as part of this role.
These are fixed term, full-time position for a period of six months with the possibility of extension (consideration may be given to applicants seeking part-time opportunities). This process may be used to fill future similar permanent or fixed-term positions that may arise across the WA public sector in the next 12 months from the initial date of appointment.
To be successful for this position, you need to demonstrate:

  • Experience in a Financial/Accounts Payable environment including knowledge of Treasurer’s Instructions.
  • Ability to demonstrate analytical and problem - solving skills including utilisation of spreadsheets.
  • Understanding of business, financial, and human resource management.
