About the role
We have an exciting full-time opportunity for a Senior Customer Support Technician Officer to join our high-calibre customer service team at our head office in Wakerley, Brisbane.
The Customer Support team is a well-respected team within insignia that provides exceptional remote support, troubleshooting, and outcomes to our customers on the latest mobility & traceability hardware and software.
Here is what you will be doing day to day:
- Manage and lead the Customer Support Technician team's daily activities and longer-term career development.
- Diagnose and provide troubleshooting support related to product labelling, traceability, inventory, and supply chain products.
- Assist customers with product setup, configuration, and problem resolution.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow support technicians to resolve customer technical problems.
- Stay current with insignia's product offerings and technical specifications to deliver accurate and practical support.
- Escalate advanced technical issues to specialised teams when necessary.
- Strive for first-contact issue resolution and ensure customer satisfaction.
About you
- Proven experience in a Senior Customer Support / Team Leader role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with great attention to detail.
- Patience, empathy, and a customer-focused approach when assisting individuals with technical difficulties.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment within a fast-paced work setting.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and helpdesk software is advantageous.
