Job Details:Job Summary:
Responsible for the provision of specialist advice and execution of database engineering and exploitation for the CATS Metrix database. Secondary role is assistance with the creation of database reports.
This role will be a barracks and field-based role, employed in the Exercise Control Centre during exercises and Lavarack Barracks before and after exercises. This position works under general supervision.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create a data dictionary and data warehouse able to be exploited through a unitary toolset.
- Create a data dictionary and data warehouse that harmonises the past 10 years of CATS Metrix data logs.
- Assist the Operational Analyst (Fusion Cell) in the creation and interpretation of CATS Metrix data.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Comply with Cubic’s Quality Management System
- Comply with Cubic Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures
- Comply with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of the organisations
- Comply with Cubic Human Resources Procedures
- Other duties as requested
Minimum Job Requirements:
Skills/Experience/Knowledge
- Undergraduate qualifications in Information Systems and database management
- 4+ years’ experience in a similar role that involved the classification, labeling, cleaning and exploitation of database.
- Eligibility to obtain and hold an Australian Defence Industry security clearance.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office suite of applications
