As a Senior Data Modeller at MMSG you will work on the data pipeline and analytics to provide key insights into our customers’ journeys. Working on a variety of projects, you will get the opportunity to build out the data and analytics capability in a complex data environment. You will work hand in hand with the data scientists to understand the business.
All our data pipeline combines metrics from multiple data sources both online and from CRM data, that we utilise to develop our understanding of the customer journey and ultimately improve the service provided to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the data scientists and other departments to ensure automated campaigns achieve lead and conversion targets
- Play a key role in business solution design - including planning and leading discovery and solution sessions, gathering stakeholder’s business requirements, developing quality documentation
- Design and present tailored marketing automation solutions based on best practices
- Maintain and further develop data for the Data Science environment to improve analytics
- Reviewing existing marketing campaigns across the business and automating where appropriate
- Ensuring all platforms within the business communicate with each other to remove discrepancies
- Carrying out A/B testing on automated marketing campaigns to maximise results
- Support our Sales team on new business opportunities related to marketing automation, as needed
- Develop strategies to deliver ongoing improvement of users online experience through personalised onsite and offsite experiences (inc. programmatic and social)
- Provide thought leadership on channel management, integration and new initiatives.
- Assist with any reporting and analytics activities required for digital campaigns or website testing
- Assist with ongoing digital and website optimisation activities – including users testing and research, design reviews, and agency liaison
- Identify data discrepancies and communicate back to stakeholders
- Document and maintain key business logic and rules
- Create data models, data definitions, information models and data flow diagrams (Information Architecture) for the MS Dynamics 365, Adobe Audience Manager and Adobe Campaign Manager
- Improvement analysis and identify new metrics to improve analytics
- Strong SQL query skills with the ability to extract data from systems for analysis
- Data mining skills, able to work through data to identify patterns, trends and discrepancies
- Demonstrated ability in data modelling, ETL development, and data warehousing or similar skills
- Experience in working and delivering end to end projects independently
- Experience in cloud based environments = preferably Snowflake and Azure if you have experience in either
- Has previously worked along side or as an Analyst or Data Scientist
- Experience gaining insights from sales or financial data
- Thorough understanding of business processes, particularly sales & marketing processes
- Experience in Digital Marketing / Design / Online Channel Management
- Diploma/Degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science or similar quantitative field is desirable but not essential
