Senior Service Technician - Significant Career Progression - Cbd - $104,000

With an enviable culture, and working environment, we are looking for a Senior Service Technician based onsite in Melbourne CBD. This is a hands-on service position dealing with a variety of AV technologies.

The role;

• Attending to faults as per client’s needs – ensuring support, maintenance and troubleshooting of their AV systems
• Provide professional support and proactive communication to clients – including up to date reports on any open service ticket
• Being the escalation point at the site and providing assistance and guidance to technicians at the site
• Network configuration of AV devices and troubleshooting of common IT faults related to AV devices.
• Conduct preventative maintenance checks and audits and update internal registers and procedures to reflect the current status of rooms
• Provide technical requirements to relevant Systems teams to facilitate quotes and projects as required
• AV Ticket management based on ITIL principles
• Update internal registers and procedures to reflect the current status of rooms – includes maintenance reports
• Conduct Audits as required including compiling the report
• Provide Events support as required
• Ensure tickets are closed once satisfactorily completed

We are looking for someone who has;

• Relevant experience in an AV incident response role 
• Experience with AMX and Crestron control systems
• Experience in DSP programming is desirable 
• Networking experience/certifications highly desirable
• Customer service experience 
• Working with Children Check
• Problem solver, will own issues until full resolution
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with great attention to detail
• Strong organisational, time management & prioritisation skills
• Strong rapport and relationship building skills with both internal staff and customers
• Exceed customer expectations - ability to create wow and delight moments with customers
