Key responsibilities- Conduct regular assessments of Indigenous employee satisfaction and engagement to identify areas of improvement and implement targeted interventions
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance retention of Indigenous employees, including mentorship programs, career development initiatives and cultural capability programs
- Serve as coach and wellbeing resource for Indigenous employees, providing support, guidance and referrals to relevant internal resources where appropriate
- Build and maintain relationships with Indigenous organisations, leaders and stakeholders to foster partnerships and support retention efforts
We're interested in hearing from people who have:
- Deep understanding of Indigenous cultures, traditions and issues and a track record of applying these successfully in promoting Indigenous empowerment and advancement within a corporate setting.
- Demonstrated capability in problem solving and project management
- Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels and to work in varied squads when needed
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge of best practices related to Indigenous employee experience and workplace diversity
- Experience in Indigenous affairs, organisational development (capability, talent acquisition, leadership or culture), human resources or related field, with a track record of implementing successful strategies
