We are seeking an experienced Dental Coordinator or a Senior Dental Assistant with experience in working in a large practice to join our friendly, professional team.
The Dental Coordinator will have direct responsibility for the support and mentoring of support staff in the delivery of outstanding patient treatment and care. The role reports to the Practice Manager and will involve management and support of clinical staff, including rosters, staff selection, induction, training, and performance reviews. You must have a good understanding of ordering and stock control, development of systems and much more.
You may be an experienced, mature-minded Dental Assistant looking to progress your career.
Excellent knowledge in Dental Procedures, Australian Infection Control Standards and experience in the mentoring and management of people will ensure success for you in this role.
You will also require:
- A minimum of 1 year in a similar role or 3 years dental assisting in a large clinical team
- An outstanding commitment to providing the best possible care to patients
- Excellent communication skills to support and maintain great working relationships with the Clinical Team and patients
- An understanding of business to provide support in business improvement
- The ability to update systems and procedures, recommend improvements, assist with process documentation, training and implementation
- A bright, friendly personality, have initiative and be willing to be both a team player and leader
- Full working rights for Australia, be vaccinated for Covid-19 and have a current WWCC.
