About Us
Our client is currently looking for a Senior Design Drafter for their Civil Infrastructure project to join their team in Adelaide.
About the role:
- Coordinate the professional advice and input into the technical design, development, implementation and monitoring of a range of projects and proposals
- Developing detailed drawings and plans for roads, bridges, drainage systems, and other Civil Infrastructure projects.
- Ensuring designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Identifying and resolving design issues and challenges that arise during the design and construction process.
- Seeking opportunities to improve design processes, efficiency, and quality of deliverables.
- Creating 3D models of civil structures and infrastructure to visualize designs and identify potential issues.
Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated technical knowledge of civil engineering.
- Minimum 5 years drafting and design experience in civil and infrastructure field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and 12D programs.
- Ability to produce accurate design documentation drawings.
- Manual design and drafting skills.
- Knowledge of Australian standards, building construction practices, codes of practice, authority regulations, and industry best practices.
- Experience in delivery of design, documentation, and quality assurance to meet industry standards and statutory regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
