As a Senior Designer, you'll lead creative projects from concept to completion, collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver compelling design solutions. Your role includes leading initiatives, mentoring, and ensuring top-quality work, offering you the opportunity to grow, innovate, and make a real difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the in-house design process from concept development to final execution. Create visually appealing and impactful designs for various promotional campaign materials, including social media content, website content, eDMs, digital banners, direct mail, and MSWA-owned publications.
- Collaborate with marketing team, and other departments to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Create and present design concepts and prototypes.
- Oversee and guide the work of designers, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Ensure all design work aligns with brand guidelines and project goals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate best practices into design work.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or equivalent experience.
- Creative Excellence: A strong, passionate designer capable of developing and producing innovative concepts and creative ideas.
- Technical Proficiency:
o Expertise in design principles, typography, and layout.
o Skill in creating compelling visual stories through video content.
o Advanced knowledge of Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Microsoft Office 365.
o Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
o Basic understanding of UX/UI principles.
o Experience with HTML5 banners and animated social campaigns (desirable).
o Experience with HTML/CSS. - Innovation: A creative mindset with a passion for staying ahead of design and video trends.
- Brand Stewardship: Experience in adapting and maintaining brand design guidelines across various marketing assets.
- Compliance: NDIS worker screening clearance (or willingness to obtain).
- Mobility: A current C class driver's license.
