Part of the Joint Services Division, Parliament of South Australia, the Parliamentary Network Support Group (PNSG) is a dedicated team providing an extensive range of information and communication services to the Parliament of South Australia and Electorate Offices, including network management, computing services, and support for core Parliamentary applications and collaboration services.

The PNSG team are supportive and collaborative. We provide time for training and will reimburse successful completion of certifications and exams. We aim to work 37.5 hours per week, from the office but also from home where required. Overtime is payable for out of hours work in addition to the salary. We offer favourable superannuation (Triple S) in addition to the salary and flexible, family supportive working arrangements.

About the Role
The Senior Developer role sits within the PNSG Business Systems team and will work under limited direction and involves a significant level of responsibility to undertake a range of complex
and/or critical technical activities for the Parliament of South Australia in the planning, development, maintenance, and support of the enterprise Parliamentary Internet and Intranet Portal (PIIP)
servicing the general public, Members of Parliament, and Parliamentary staff within Parliament House and Electoral Offices across the
State.
The role requires the application of highly specialised technical skills and competencies required to develop, maintain, and support the enterprise content management system currently implemented using Sitecore and Microsoft cloud technology.
The incumbent will need to take a collaborative and team-first approach and develop and maintain effective consultative and collaborative relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders and service providers.
This is a trusted role and is required to undertake duties, such as managing confidential and sensitive electorate data, requiring an elevated security clearance to Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) Negative Vetting Level 1.
Special Conditions
This role has been classified as a position of trust. The incumbent is subject to a satisfactory criminal history / record check in line with Parliamentary policies and procedures.
The incumbent is required to:
- work after-hours and/or participate in an on-call roster, as required.
- hold a current driver’s licence and be prepared to drive to meet business requirements.
- refrain from any kind of political activity or involvement in electoral affairs.
- maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive client information.
Some intra/interstate travel involving overnight absences may be required.
The incumbent will be required to participate in the Parliament’s Performance Development Program and achieve performance targets as negotiated and mutually agreed with the Team Leader, Business Systems.
The incumbent may be required to be assigned to other positions at the same remuneration level across the Parliament.
Remuneration
ASH7 ($106,512 to $115,137 per annum)
37.5 hours per week (equivalent to $54.45 - $58.86/ hour).
Overtime payable for out of hours work in addition to salary.
Employer Superannuation Contribution Rate 11.0% in addition to salary.
Flexible, family supportive working arrangements.
