The Role:
As a key player in an agile development environment, you will lead the design and development of cutting-edge applications that leverage the latest cloud technologies and platforms, including AWS and other similar services.
Technical skills/requirements (must haves)
- 5 years + experience in a similar role/industry sector
- Degree qualified in a relevant engineering field such as Information Technology, Computer Science or Software Development
- Demonstrated capability in programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python, C++ or Java
- Demonstrated capability in database creation and management
- Experience in data structures and algorithms
- Ability to collaborate within a software development team using source code management software such as Git
- Rigorous approach to testing and a keen eye for bugs and errors
- Deep fluency with a variety of operating systems including Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android
- Ability to communicate effectively with both clients and colleagues regarding programming tasks and meeting deadlines
Soft skills/Requirements
In addition to technical skills, you should be able to work effectively in small teams/start-up cultures and be comfortable wearing multiple hats and balancing multiple responsibilities. You should be able to manage priorities well while managing the expectations of stakeholders and have the ability to work well with remote team members and individuals with varying personalities.
