Senior Devops Engineer - Aws | Ansible | Terraform

The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for the deployment and upgrade of SaaS products on to AWS cloud, and ensure seamless operations.

A global leader in enterprise technology solutions is currently seeking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to be part of a high performing cloud services team based in Canberra ACT.
You will be responsible for a large system implementation, deployment and upgrade project, while ensuring the seamless operations and optimisation of the cloud Infrastructure and hosted products.
Key Responsibilities:

• System Implementation, deployment, upgrade, and lifecycle management of cloud infrastructure and hosted software products.
• Design and deploy critical SaaS applications and management elements.
• Create automation scripts and contribute to automated deployment processes, enhancing efficiency and reliability.
• Set up and configure tools for monitoring applications, ensuring security, and facilitating auditing processes.
• Provide troubleshooting and technical expertise to identify issues affecting service delivery, and recommend fixes for application issues, covering batch jobs, data stores, application functionality, management layers, and load balancing.
• Schedule, plan, and implement new systems to meet evolving business needs.
• Participating in on-call rotation duties.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience implementing or supporting technical infrastructure on the cloud at a corporate level or business application operations background.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Experience with AWS services such as Route 53, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, RDS, IAM, ACM, KMS, VPC.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Experience in Linux/Unix systems administration or windows administration.
• Strong scripting skills for automation tasks.
• Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration tools (e.g., Gitlab, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong analytical research and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must hold a high level government security clearance.

Contract Rate: $1,000-$1,100 per Day (incl. super).
