Ravensworth Operations comprises of Ravensworth Open Cut and the Coal Handling Preparation Plant that provides high quality coal for the export market. Our operation has approval to mine over 14Mtpa, with a long mine life. Our fleet consists of Cat 6090 hydraulic face shovels and 6060 & 6040 excavators, CAT 6290 and 6420 rotary drills, Letourneau L1850 wheel loaders, Caterpillar 797F/789C & 789D rear dump trucks and ancillary equipment.
An opportunity exists for experienced Auto Electricians, who are self-motivated and committed to developing a culture motivated by safety, quality and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will work safely and effectively as part of a diverse team, to optimise equipment availability and reliability, ensuring fleet performance and other targets are achieved across the business.
Your key responsibilities will include;
- Following maintenance and service plans within the Weekly Maintenance Plan Process as instructed by Maintenance Supervisor.
- Clearly understanding fleet targets for the Department and be actively involved in identifying and eliminating inefficiencies.
- Using your skills as a tradesperson effectively, so that budgeted fleet performance is achieved
The ideal applicant has the ability to work effectively both as part of a team and individually, thinking pragmatically to solve problems and the tenacity to work until a solution is found. They will understand the companies high regard for safety and hold the same value.
To be successful in this role, you will have relevant trade qualifications, demonstrated experience in maintaining and servicing water pump systems and ancillary equipment. Your commitment to embracing new skills, opportunities and responsibilities is essential.
