Senior Direct Support Worker

CPL - Choice, Passion, Life are looking for a Senior Direct Support Worker in the Redcliffe / Woody Point area. This is a part-time permanent role.

As our Senior Direct Support Worker, you will be providing our clients with a variety of supports including medications administration, personal care, transfers and mealtime assistance. You will also be overseeing the work of others to ensure they work effectively to deliver high quality services to our clients, whilst supporting with administration involved in the day-to-day running of the programs.  

Selection criteria includes:

• Previous leadership experience.
• Experience working directly in disability support services.
• General administration skills for records / documentation.
• Good level of computer skills.
• Be well organised with a willingness to learn rosters.
• Use of hoists, slide sheets and other mobility aids.
• Respond positively to challenging behaviours and restrictive practices.
• Administer medications and implement health care plans.
• Provide clients with personal care with the most dignity and respect.
• Provide support and assistance to the SIC teams as required.

• A valid Paid Blue Card (Working with Children's Check).
• An NDIS Worker Screening Check (formerly a Yellow Card).
• A valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• A current driver's license.
