Senior Director, Ehs | Apac

In addition to contributing to Australia's export economy, CSL has invested $AUD2 billion over the last 4 years into Australia and continues to invest in substantial new manufacturing facilities to support CSL's global strategy and provide the network with crucial supply of product sourced from our Melbourne facilities.

A rare opportunity is available to lead CSL's APAC EHS team. You will lead a regional team of dedicated professionals across health and injury management, safety, environment and chemical and maintain best practice across a multi faceted and complex business.

CSL is Comcare self-insurer and your experience with a self insured organisation is essential to be successful in this role.

As a member of CSL's global EHS leadership team:

• You will lead EHS for all of our Asia Pacific sites (Australia, Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and others)
• You will have oversight and responsibility of the relationship with Comcare, lead the strategy to support the regulatory framework and maintain best practice
• Develop and roll out the enterprise EHS strategy, culture and governance processes
• Work with the executive leadership teams at CSL's Global Head Office, and Site Heads
• Provide support to APAC country affiliates and maintain compliance to individual country legal frameworks
• Lead CSL's global Health and Wellness Committee and the roll out of initiatives across our global sites
• Foster a culture of collaboration within your function and the wider business

To be suitable for this position:

• Experience working with Comcare or similar self insurance model at a senior level
• Lead an accomplished team and partner with global leaders across diverse stakeholder groups
• Previous experience managing a multi site organisation, ideally in an industrial / scientific or similar setting
• Led roll out of Health, Safety and Wellbeing initiatives
• Experience navigating a matrix organisation
• Tertiary qualifications from Health, Science, Engineering or related field
