AddressSenior Document Controller - CopperString 2032
UGL and CPB Contractors have been awarded the early works contract to support Powerlink's delivery of CopperString 2032. This $5 billion iconic project will initially be approximately 840 kilometres of new transmission line running from just south of Townsville to Mount Isa that will connect Queensland's North West Minerals Province to the national electricity grid. The project scope includes:
- 500 kilovolt (kV) transmission line from just south of Townsville to Hughenden
- 330kV transmission line from Hughenden to Cloncurry
- 220kV transmission line from Cloncurry to Mount Isa
- Up to six new substation sites.
This exciting project will commence construction in 2024 and we are currently looking for an experienced Senior Document Controller to join the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and administer the selected Document Control System.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to identify business processes and develop appropriate documentation.
- Ensure that document controls protocols are in accordance with project documents and procedures.
- Recording, checking and tracking all incoming and outgoing project documents.
- Assist and support the startup of the project from a quality control perspective.
- Issue to the appropriate personnel for review all technical queries, engineering change notices and all reports.
Requirements for this role:
- Ideally 3+ years' experience as a Document Controller within engineering, mining or construction.
- Experience with MS Office, Lotus Notes, Aconex and Ineight teambinder.
- Excellent planning and resourcing skills, with the ability to manage time and prioritise tasks.
- Systematic approach to conducting work.
- Must be available to travel to site.
