About the Opportunity: We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Draftsperson to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the quality assurance of drawings for residential construction projects, collaborating closely with our in-house and offshore drafting teams, Checking of plans & quality control. This highly technical position requires a deep understanding of design principles, Council regulations, computer-aided drafting technologies, and building codes to ensure accurate and comprehensive construction drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate workflow with an offshore drafting team and ensure quality assurance for all construction drawings.
• Maintain accurate internal operating system data related to drafting information and tasks.
• Continuously improve the quality of construction drawings to meet construction team requirements.
• Provide prompt, clear, and solution-oriented service to all internal and external stakeholders.
• Weekly reporting.
Key Requirements:
• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Senior Draftsperson in a construction-related field, with a focus on quality assurance of construction drawings.
• A degree or diploma in a relevant field, such as architectural drafting, building construction, or engineering.
• High level of proficiency in Revit.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction principles, building codes, and construction processes.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
•Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
