A bit about the role
Lead a team of dedicated Maternal and Child Healthcare professionals, empowering them to achieve their aspirations and contribute to improving outcomes for children and families.
Contribute to strategic planning, policy development, and the evolution of our leading, integrated Maternal and Child Health Service.
What you’ll deliver
- Oversee the delivery of high quality Maternal and Child Health Services
- Provide support, training, and clinical supervision for your team
- Facilitate growth with the recruitment and selection of new team members
- Promote an integrated approach to the delivery of early year’s services
- Liaise with community agencies and external stakeholders, developing referral processes and dual care pathways
- Assess, monitor and promote the health, growth, development and behaviour of young children 0-6 years including physical, social, emotional and intellectual status.
What you’ll bring
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate a team
- A passion to deliver high quality services at the forefront of Maternal and Child Health
- Post Graduate Qualifications in Child & Family Health as recognised in Victoria to practice in Maternal and Child Health
- Current AHPRA Registration as Division 1 Nurse and Midwife
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History, Working with Children, Eligibility to Work check, and Functional Assessment (Medical/physio)
- A curious, collaborative, and inclusive community mindset.
