About the role
Due to consistent growth, you will join a friendly and passionate team as a Senior Draftsperson. As a Drafter, you will play a crucial role in transforming engineering concepts and ideas into detailed and accurate technical drawings. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your drafting skills and contribute to the success of exciting and challenging engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities for the role
* Create detailed and accurate 3D drawings using Solidworks based on engineering designs and specifications.
* Collaborate with sales and production team members to understand project requirements and specifications.
* Review and revise existing drawings as needed, to reflect design changes and improvements.
* Provide support to the production team by resolving drawing-related issues and answering questions.
* Ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
Skills & experience
* Proficiency in 3D modelling with SolidWorks with 2-3 years' experience
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings.
* Previous experience in drafting in a manufacturing related field is preferred but not required.
* Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
