Role description:
There are opportunities to work collaboratively with our many biodiversity specialists across the globe, including internationally recognised subject matter experts in natural capital and biodiversity and business.
Role accountabilities:
- Providing technical ecological advice and report deliverables on a range of projects, primarily in NSW, but there are opportunities to work across our national ecology team and Arcadis offers international opportunities as well.
- Supporting the NSW and National ecology team leaders in team development.
- Involvement in business development and work proposals.
- Proactively managing projects or components of projects, quality assurance and development of client relationships.
Qualifications & Experience:
- You are an experienced Ecologist with a passion for Australia's ecosystems and a desire to contribute to a multi-disciplinary consultancy.
- Tertiary qualifications in Ecology, Zoology, Botany or other relevant degree.
- Extensive relevant post-graduate experience, including supervising aspects of projects, applying standards and managing resources.
- Experience leading, mentoring and developing ecologists and providing technical support.
- Strong client focus and a knack for building and maintaining credible working relationships.
- NSW BAM Accreditation / desire to be accredited will be highly regarded.
