Asset Management across Energy, Utilities, Engineering performance and knowledge of the maintenance and replacement programs.
We are seeking a contractor for a 6 month contract with working from home flexibility. With experience in Asset Management across Energy, Utilities, Engineering performance and knowledge of the maintenance and replacement programs.
Responsibilities:
- Provides reliable and actionable insights/recommendations on investments and maintenance programs to optimise the balance of cost, risk, and performance on its network assets.
- Ensures continuous improvement of existing datasets and algorithms for capital and operating expenditure optimisation.
- Develops strategies and procedures relating to performance for all assets across the asset lifecycle, including KPI development.
- Supports Enterprise Asset Management Software migration project, mapping existing reports, applying new data transformations, migrating reports from Power BI Report Server to Online
- Identifies and addresses potential issues before they escalate. Takes initiative to propose and implement effective solutions.
- Contributes to high quality, reusable, and maintainable solutions for transforming, cleansing, and managing large data sets from engineering sources.
Experience:
- Knowledge and working experience working in a BI, reporting and analysis role.
- Hands on experience in SQL development for data modelling, and data analytics.
- Experience with transforming, cleansing, and managing large datasets from engineering assets
- Ability to translate business requirements into effective analysis and reporting.
- Working experience of the energy and utility sector.
- Knowledge of the maintenance and replacement programs related to utilities.
- Familiarity with asset management and systems and engineering data hierarchies.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications at degree level in an appropriate discipline such as Electrical, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent relevant experience.
