Senior Electrical Engineer - Mining Projects

The position will suit an accomplished Senior  Electrical Engineer with design experience in brownfields materials handling/Fixed plant facilities across Iron Ore Mining projects.
 
Responsibilities:

• Provide technical ownership of electrical design
• Carry out engineering calculations, drawings and documentation. 
• Design review and checking
• Support more junior members of the Electrical Engineering team, providing technical consultancy and guidance to project personnel
• Develop commercial packages related to technical assurance
• Review system design ensuring compliance with standards and specifications

 
Required Skills and Experience:

• Tertiary Electrical Engineering qualifications
• Experience with materials handling equipment ideally on Brownfield projects conveyors, stockyards, screeners, reclaimers, stackers, and crushers. 
• Minimum 8 years of experience working on Mining projects
• Site construction and commission experience favorable
