Location:
Melbourne, Cremorne or Sydney, CBD. We're open to a hybrid working style; spend time in the office and at home.
Reporting to:
General Manager - Engineering.
The role:
We're currently on working on several large scale BESS Projects, with more to come across multiple regions - both locally and globally. As a team we are growing and contributing towards streamlining internal processes, ensuring design is as smooth as possible. In this role, you'll be assisting in the development team in the engineering aspects during the early phases of our projects - you'll support the Project Delivery team during the tendering of projects, by providing Project Technical specifications and general tendering support. As a Senior Electrical Engineer you'll undertake Design Reviews of contractor drawings and reports, and will also attend and participate in Safety in Design (SiD) workshops.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Work out the Facility Size.
- Develop Concept General Arrangements and Single Line Diagrams.
- Produce Technical Specifications and project scopes.
- Review Contractor Designs.
- Review Contractor Documentation.
- Attend Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) when required.
- Attend project sites to ensure a quality product is delivered.
What you'll bring:
- Substation design experience.
- Scope/Technical writing experience.
- Design Management experience.
- Exposed to commercial negotiations.
- Mentoring experience
- AutoCAD experience, Knowledge of the GPS process, and BESS design experience would be highly regarded but not expected.
