Seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to join a department in Jandakot
Your new company
A government organisation in Jandakot are seeking an Electrical Inspector to maintain electrical and ITS infrastructure assets and compliance. You will be engaged on a temporary contract for 6-months plus extension, working full-time hours with occasional overtime requirements.
Your new role
As the Electrical Inspector, you will be responsible for:
- Undertaking and coordinating compliance inspection of electrical and ITS infrastructure delivered to site
- Develop and implement audit and inspection schedules to ensure assets are accepted in accordance with department's standards that minimise the risk of acceptance of substandard assets.
- Develop and maintain standards and procedures for electrical and ITS audit reports and inspection reports.
- Written communication, technical report writing with recommendations.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered, you will need to have previous experience in a similar role, in addition to:
- Experience in constructing and maintaining electrical control systems and ITS (intelligent transport systems)
- The ability to provide technical advice to Project Managers around electrical and ITS requirements
- WA Electrical Requirements (WAER)
- AS/NZ ISO 31000 RIsk Management - in electrical context
- White Card
- C-Class Drivers Licence
