Senior End Use Compute Engineer | Brisbane, QLD | Hybrid
Our client, an Australian energy company, are looking for a Senior EUC Engineer to join their Workplace Technology team. This role will see you responsibe for developing, implementing, and maintaining their EUC and Modern Workplace technology environment, and will see you performing engineerng and operations to develop solutions and enhance platforms.

Your Day-to-Day
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical leads to design and architect the EUC-based and Workplace technology platforms
- Leverage infrastructure-as-code principles for automation and scalability to deliver self-serve and self-managed solutions.
- Develop and execute a migration strategy to move existing EUC and Workplace technology systems and applications from on-prem to cloud.
- Lead and guide the technical aspects of EUC and Workplace technology platforms dependant projects.
- Implement security practices for EUC and Workplace technology to ensure data protection and compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor and optimize the EUC and Workplace technology platforms to achieve high performance, availability, and cost-optimisation.
- Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of EUC and Workplace technology solutions.
- Train and mentor junior Engineers to grow skills within the team.
- Collaborate with development teams, offering guidance and support in building EUC & Workplace technology solutions for high availability and recoverability, including disaster recovery and backup strategies.
- Create documentation for EUC architecture, processes, and configurations.
- Participate in an on-call roster.
- Proven experience in EUC and modern workplace technologies
- Successful track record of developing, implementing, and managing EUC
- Experience working with and enhancing ITSM processes
- Experience with some of the following tech:
- PowerShell scripting
- Citrix VD & apps
- Applications packaging & distruibution (SCCM and/or Intune)
- MOEs
- M365 Administration
- Identity and access management
- Telephony
- Video Conferencing admin
- Workplace technology
- Understanding of networking concepts
- Knowledge of best security concepts for EUC
- Demonstrated ability to work with projects and diverse stakeholder eams to develop EUC
