The role:
The Senior Engineer – Control Systems is responsible for working closely with the operations, maintenance and engineering teams to ensure that automation systems are aligned with site requirements. Your responsibilities will include identifying and executing improvement projects, ensuring work complies with site, industry and Australian standards, conducting performance evaluations to identify operational limitations and initiate steps to enhance system performance, maintaining the safety, security and integrity of process Control Systems from physical & cyber intrusion, supporting reliability engineering and asset management best practice and facilitating the addition, removal and changes to process Control Systems.
Selection Criteria:
This role will suit a professional engineer who has excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders. Tertiary qualified in either electrical, electronics, instrumentation or process engineering you will need to have a thorough understanding of Yokogawa Centum DCS, Rockwell PLCs, Industrial Communication Networks, OSISoft PI Plant Historian and have advanced skills in MS Office programs (Excel, Word, MS Project, PowerPoint, Outlook. SAP). A 6-month contract with 3-monthly extensions is available. FIFO-Perth 8/6.
