The Project Integration Branch of the NDI Division transport priorities through the development and delivery of an integrated pipeline of projects and support the Major Transport Infrastructure Program.
About the opportunity
The Senior Engineer, Network Interface and Assurance supports the provision of network interface and assurance services for the Major Transport Infrastructure Authority (MTIA) and other delivery agencies and operators on behalf of the Department of Transport (DoT).
Key Accountabilities
- Provide technical support across the Project Integration teams to ensure a high level of service is achieved when interacting with MTIA and other delivery agencies.
- Provide technical advice to assist in making informed decisions to ensure DoT's quality assurance and performance requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle, drawing on internal subject matter expertise as required, and / or effectively and promptly escalating decisions through the governance framework.
- Exercise professional independent judgement in representing DoT to provided technical information guidance and feedback across the project lifecycle, interpret drawings and specifications and anticipate potential operational, construction, material and disruption issues, seeking input from other areas as appropriate.
- Apply innovative and specialist problem solving skills to provide advice to key stakeholders on project matters.
