This role initially offers one year contract and provides the flexibility of the mix of working from home and office and 9 days a fortnight full time working arrangement.

Your new role:

Reporting to the Supply Chain Risk and Assurance Manager, you will be ensuring the validity and accuracy of data on the approved supplier's list as well as providing administrative support to the supply chain risk and assurance team.

More specifically, you will
  • Work in conjunction with supply chain risk team to optimise the operation of the approved supplier list and maintain supplier record, file reports, correspondence and related materials
  • Identify and manage the issues relating to supplier information and management including but not limited to , supplier certifications, insurances, supply risk level, category codes and supplier attributes
  • Undertake regular assurance/spot checks on the approved supplier list to ensure data is being maintained accurately and in accordance with data governance and legislative requirements
  • Perform data entry, collate/produce reports and coordinate/collate supplier information for business units and undertake data analysis when required
  • Provide support to governance team for second line assurance and financial controls activities regarding supplier evaluation process
Support the accurate and timely migration of supplier data into new systems and tools

About you

As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:
  • Demonstrated relevant experience in administrative or clerical service within business environment is essential
  • Strong experience in setting and managing competing priorities with some experience/exposure in procurement/supply chain or related discipline is desirable
  • An ability to show initiate, prioritise and meet deadlines and intermediate knowledge of SharePoint is desirable
  • Proficient user of Ms Office package and basic understanding of ERP platforms/databases
Whilst, not essential, degree in procurement or supply chain discipline or studying towards is desirable

Clearances

As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
