  • Provide expert advice as a Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ).
  • Ensure compliance with Council policies, procedures, and information systems, maintaining a focus on quality, safety, and environmental management.

About you:

  • Considerable experience working as a Civil Engineer (or equivalent) for sealed and unsealed road infrastructure.
  • RPEQ certified, or able to obtain certification, shortly after commencement.
  • Proven Project Management skills in civil operations including plan reading, project estimation and project planning.
  • Demonstrated skills in providing technical oversight and leadership, financial management, planning and negotiation.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills that support your ability to influence, tailor and target your messaging for the optimum outcome.
  • A desire to lead and mentor your team, by example and experience in developing skills and behaviours aligned to Council's objectives and values.
