Duties & Responsibilities:
Technical
• Project manage the development of the Client’s Offshore environmental approvals to support their Offshore Projects.
• Provide operational support and track commitments for the Client’s offshore activities to ensure
compliance with Offshore Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Storage Act 2006
• Development and submit monthly incident and annual reports for relevant regulators
General
• Direct engagement with internal and external stakeholders on environmental matters
• Coordinate the delivery of external environmental advice to support the development of
environmental approvals (OPP, Environment Plans)
• Participate in internal and external audits / inspections as required
• The ability to be pro-active and work under limited supervision
Role Requirements:
Experience
• 10+ years relevant environmental experience at offshore and onshore assets, in the oil and gas
resources sector
• Demonstrated experience coordinating offshore environmental projects in Australia
• Sound knowledge and understanding of regulatory processes pertaining to offshore oil and gas
Activities
Qualifications
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant science or engineering discipline.
Checks and Clearances
• Current Australian drivers licence.
• NPC and ability to work in Australia
