We have an opportunity for an Environmental Scientist to join us in Perth and elevate their career in this exciting position.
Engage with both our field staff and clients, you'll coordinate field activities, oversee project schedules and ensure everything runs smoothly and on time. Fieldwork includes:
- Contaminated land soil, groundwater and surface water sampling (PSI/DSI/Remediation)
- Insitu and exsitu waste soil classification sampling
- Asbestos testing (no, you don't get a special suit)
- Ground gas, vapor and dust sampling
We're on the hunt for a professional with at least 5 years of experience in contaminated land consultancy. Your skills lie in project planning, scheduling, budget estimates and cost control as well as hands on skills with complex fieldwork, report writing and engaging with stakeholders and supervising sub contractors.
You'll need to hold a Qualification in at least Environmental Science, Engineering, Pollution Science, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
Flexibility is key in this role, as you'll need to adapt to working with a diverse team. We're a young crew, so patience, empathy, and a good sense of humor will help when mentoring others.
