An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Environmental Scientist to join our growing Perth based Environmental Approvals Team.
In this role you will play a key role in the delivery of our strong project pipeline in Environmental Impact Assessment, primary and secondary environmental approvals and environmental management. You will contribute to significant projects across a range of sectors with a strong focus on transport, mining, power and energy, renewables, water and Defence.
The role is suited to an environmental professional looking to expand and diversify their experience and career. You will be part of a highly experienced and respected team and will have access to mentoring and development opportunities.

You will work alongside highly experienced professionals that will support you to grow and develop professionally. You will:
- Work with clients from the early stages of their projects to develop environmental approvals strategies and scope Environmental Impact Assessments.
- Scope and manage environmental studies and surveys.
- Undertake Environmental Impact Assessments across a range of industry types and project sizes.
- Prepare high quality environmental approvals documentation and environmental management plans.
- Have access to career development framework to guide your career growth.
- Receive coaching and mentoring from industry leaders in a work environment that values diversity, flexibility and professional development.
- Mentor and coach early career stage professionals.
Here’s what you’ll need:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to work across a diverse suite of projects across multiple industry sectors. In this role you will develop your consulting, project management and technical skills through delivering a range of environmental consulting projects.
- A degree/post graduate qualification in environmental science, environmental planning or related discipline.
- work experience in Environmental Impact Assessment and environmental approvals
- Demonstrated knowledge of Western Australian and Commonwealth environmental legislation.
- Exceptional organisational skills with strong motivation and ability to work self-directed.
